PBIS
Over the last few years, Bracher staff have worked rigorously to implement Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS). Through successes and challenges, lead by a Site Leadership Team (SLT), the staff have implemented positive and proactive behavioral approaches. These approaches are based in evidence, and require teaching skills, acknowledging appropriate, expected behaviors, and applying consequences for violations.
In August of 2018, Bracher received notification that they were being recognized for their efforts by the California PBIS Coalition. Bracher Elementary was acknowledged at the California PBIS Conference in September and will be displayed on the CA PBIS Coalition Website for the 2018-2019 school year.
